Clos Maggiore of Covent Garden has the enviable title of The World’s Most Romantic Restaurant. Chef Marcellin Marc creates locally sourced and seasonal menus that have been rewarded with AA-rosette awards.
Working directly with Chef Marcellin, Jo Downs took inspiration from the restaurants feel and ethos to create bespoke and unique plates for starters and desserts.
Several samples were created in differing colourways and techniques. Once approved the plates were handmade using an abstract pattern created from specialist glass powders and enamels. Each plate is unique and the result… they look as delicious as the food tastes!
